Our story
Herbal was founded in Cape Town by a small group of herbalists, botanists and wellness practitioners who shared a love for indigenous plants and traditional knowledge.
South Africa holds one of the richest plant biodiversities on Earth. For centuries, communities have turned to these plants for support, ritual and daily wellbeing. We set out to make that wisdom accessible in clean, modern forms — teas, tinctures and simple remedies — without losing respect for the source.
Every product is prepared in small batches with carefully sourced botanicals, transparent practices and a commitment to quality that feels both traditional and contemporary.
